Our main interest is in their missionaries Andrew and Cora King, related to several people at CBC. See below.

Andrew and Cora King
Once members at CBC, Andrew and Cora married and moved away. Andrew had been pastor of Haywards Heath Evangelical Free Church for about 11 years when he and Cora recognised a call to work in Brazil.
Sent by HHEFC, under the care of UFM Worldwide (see the link above) and supported by many churches, including CBC, they moved to Florianópolis, capital of Santa Catarina state in southern Brazil, at the beginning of 2000.

Rosy Hammersley
Another one-time member at Caterham, Rosy has been managing a Christian café/bookshop in Toxteth. She is now working on the ship Logos II, where she will be serving the Lord in everything from scrubbing decks to helping in orphanages or visiting prisons - or even running the bookshop. Her first job (February 06) was in the engine room.

Harrison Family
Martin and Ruth Harrison, with their children Ben and Lottie, are in Ecuador. Martin is a water engineer and is working in very practical ways with a Christian mission, HCJB, to improve the living conditions of the villagers. This loving care for their well-being often provides an opening for the gospel.

Crossways Community
This is a Christian charity providing accommodation for people with mental health problems. There is a care home for those needing a high level of care and a hostel for more independent living. Both are in Tunbridge Wells and another hostel is currently being built. They are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year.

Ukraine Christian Ministries
Like several other organisations, Ukraine Christian Ministries is a healthy mixture of practical humanitarian aid and gospel ministry. We were involved in their Christmas shoebox appeal for many years, until border controls made that impossible. But financial aid still goes in and help with children’s work and church-planting goes on and God still blesses the work. The Lord is good!
