About us

The aim of Caterham Baptist Church is to bring the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ to its neighbourhood for his honour and for the eternal good of the souls around us. Many of our activities attempt to create opportunities for spreading this wonderful message.

The church has about 100 members and we have a Sunday morning congregation of about 120-140. The building we meet in – the front is shown above – was built by church members in the 1970's. The building next door, “The Manse”, was formerly where the minister lived, but now comprises offices and small meeting rooms. In 2005 the buildings were refurbished and extended to provide improved disabled access, extra classroom space and better kitchen facilities.

We are a registered charity. Our registration number is 1135414.
